Since people tend to pick human characters as their favorites in sci-fi movies. We'd like to show that aliens are just as appealing as humans (and sometimes just a appalling). So, here are our choices for the top 10 the best machices (only top 5), best male aliens, best female aliens, worst male aliens, and worst female aliens.

Top Five Best Machines (1 being the best)

• 5. R2-D2 (Star Wars)- He can fix almost anything and he's cute.
• 4. EMH2 (ST: VOY)- He's hilarious, especially when paired with The Doctor.
• 3. The Doctor (ST: VOY)- He's the biggest egomaniac ever. You've gotta' love him.
• 2. Lore (ST: TNG)- just like Data and likably evil.
• 1. Data (ST: TNG)- needs no explanation.

Top Ten Best Male Aliens

• 10. Tuvok (ST: VOY)- He's a Vulcan.
• 9. Weyoun (ST: DS9)- He's got a great voice. And nobody can kill him.
• 8. The Gorn (ST: TOS)- He's so fake! It's great!
• 7. Morn (ST: DS9)- We never hear him talk, but he's a great conversationalist. And he's so attractive.
• 6. Elim Garak (ST: DS9)- Is there anyone more surprizing and intriguing than Garak?
• 5. Yoda (Star Wars)- Great Jedi is he. Even though size he lacks.
• 4. Spock (ST: TOS)- He's the original Vulcan.
• 3. Q (ST: TNG, DS9, & VOY)- He's all-powerful and fun.
• 2. Liam Kincaid (Earth: Final Conflict)- Callea wanted him to be #1, because he's the cutest alien, he holds the knowledge of the universe, and he can kill and heal people with those glowy powers in his hands (they have a name. what is it? something that starts with an "s"??), but Mayall doesn't like him.
• 1. Quark (ST: DS9)- He's hilarious and he knows how to make money.
  ***(Runners-up include ET (just because) and Alf (because he's so fuzzy and cute. However, he didn't make the list because he eats cats.)

Top Ten Best Female Aliens

• 10. Guinan (ST: TNG)- Nobody gives better advice.
• 9. Deanna Troi (ST: TNG)- a great counselor.
• 8. Dr. Selar (ST: TNG)- She's a Vulcan.
• 7. Sela (ST: TNG)- Romulan version of the great Tasha Yar.
• 6. The Borg Queen (ST: TNG & VOY)- "controls" an entire race.
• 5. Moogie (ST: DS9)- She married the richest & most powerful man on a very rich planet, and she controls him. Go Moogie!!
• 4. Kes (ST: VOY)- She exists on as a powerful being.
• 3. Jadzia Dax (ST: DS9)- Despite the fact that she married Worf (we're still baffled by how she can stand to look at him, much less marry him), she's still awesome.
• 2. Lwaxana Troi (ST: TNG & DS9)- The woman knows what she wants and she's not afraid to take it.
• 1. Ezri Dax (ST: DS9)- Haven't seen a woman on any other show with such good taste in men (i.e.- Julian).

Top Ten Worst Male Aliens (1 being the worst)

• 10. Wato (Star Wars: Episode 1)- Have you ever seen anything uglier? (besides Worf)
• 9. The Hirogen (ST: VOY)- They put dead people into a big vat in their ship, then eat it. Yuck!
• 8. Maje Cullah (ST: VOY)- annoying
• 7. Sebula (Star Wars: Episode 1)- He could use some dental work.
• 6. Darth Maul (Star Wars: Episode 1)- The jerk killed Qui-Gon. And those horns look dangerous.
• 5. Gul Dukat (ST: DS9)- He's just not nice.
• 4. Rom (ST: DS9)- He may be good with engineering, but come on, this guy's not the brightest light bulb in the box.
• 3. Neelix (ST: VOY)- ugly, irritating, and intrusive
• 2. JarJar Binks (Star Wars: Episode 1)- annoying and does anybody know what he's saying??
• 1. Worf (ST: TNG & DS9)- ugly, irritating, and obsessed with honor

Top Ten Worst Female Aliens

• 10. Queen Amidala (Star Wars: Episode 1)- She has so much weight on her head that half the time she can barely hold her head up. And she was hitting on a little kid. That's just wrong. Besides what does she want with him when she could have Obi-Wan?
• 9. Zo'or (Earth: Final Conflict)- Would somebody assasinate her (it?) already? (ok, Zo'or doesn't exactly have a gender, but is played by a woman)
• 8. Lursa & B'Tor (ST: TNG)- They need to get a tooth brush.
• 7. Pamela Anderson- Way over-rated silicon(e) based life form.
• 6. The Female Founder (ST: DS9)- dull, evil, and irritating
• 5. Seska (ST: VOY)- annoying
• 4. Kai Winn (ST: DS9)- evil
• 3. Leeta (ST: DS9)- She has hiddeous taste. Come on, she married Rom.
• 2. 7 of 9 (ST: VOY)- Could she let one of the other crew members do something once in awhile? She's turned Voyager into the "7 of 9 Show, co-starring 'all those other people.'"
• 1. Kira (ST: DS9)- She needs to get over herself.
