Okay, it finally happened, Jadzia died in ds9's season finale, "Tears of the Prophets", but her death had no real emotional impact. I think that the writers should have given her a death that would saddened the audience, instead all I felt was irritation. Why was I irritated you say. Well it can be simply stated in one word. Worf.
I know Worf is her husband, but the howling of a barbarian doesn't really bring out sadness in me. Not to mention that the only reason he howled like that is because ~that's what Klingon's do!~
(this is where it gets into there relationship)
Did either of them say to the other one "I love you" before she died. Maybe I didn't hear it, but I don't think so. Which proves to me that they weren't really in love. The reason that she even married Worf was to hold on to her past as Curzon. The easiest way to do that, obviously was to marry a Klingon and live like a Klingon's wife. As for Worf, the only reason he was married to Jadzia was that when their relationship started, he was an enemy of Gowron. He didn't feel like he belonged with other Klingons, so he started dating Jadzia, the closest thing to a Klingon woman available.
Here's how I think Jadzia's last moments should have been:
Maybe it's just me, but I think that this would have made the ending to Jadzia's life a little more emotional.
