Bashir: You set up a workshop in the bedroom?
O'Brien: I don't use it while Keiko's there.
Bashir: Of course not.
O'Brien: She says it's a sign that I want to go back to my bachelor days, and I'm moving farther away from her.
Bashir: I think that it's a sign you want to be with her. After all, it's where you're intimate with her. It express your desire to be with her.
O'Brien: Why can't she see it that way? I wish she was more like...
Bashir: Like what?
O'Brien: Like a man!!
Bashir: You wish Keiko was a man?
O'Brien: I wish I was on this trip with anyone but you!
Bashir: (laughs)
If you didn't see the episode, they're trapped in a turbolift & no one know's they're there.
Bashir: (laughs)
Dax: What?
Bashir: Just remembering something.
Dax: Tell me.
Bashir: When I first got to the station, I had this fantasy that we went off in a runabout. Something went wrong with the shuttle, and you and I were stranded. It was days before anyone rescued us.
Dax: If you don't mind my saying, that's a strange fantasy.
Bashir: It was the only way we could be alone. You were always avoiding me.
Dax: Well you came on so strong. You never gave me a chance to get to know you.
Bashir: You're right. I didn't. But it's been a long time since I had that particular fantasy.
Dax: Oh?
Bashir: You sound dissappointed. I think you liked being chased and now you miss it.
Dax: Julian, you're not going to start chasing me again?
Bashir: Now that I know you liked it, I don't need to, do I?
Bashir: Maybe he just wanted to see you in your dress uniform. It does show off your figure.
O'Brien: Why thank you.
Bashir: Those little points of light out there are all new planets beckoning to us. Aahhh, I wish I could visit every one!
Bashir: Is it just me, or do the stars shine a little brighter in the Gamma Quadrant?
Kookalaka (sp?) is a teddy bear Bashir used to operate on
Hicoria: Where is Kookalaka now?
Bashir: Oh, in a closet somewhere.
(Hicoria looks at him doubtfully)
Bashir: On a shelf. In my room.
Bashir: (to Jake & another medic) Since you two aren't busy, would you mind carrying me to the nearest replicator so I can get something to eat.
Bashir: You don't need me there... besides, I have to be in surgery operating.
O'Brien: On who?
Bashir: I'll find someone.
Sisko: In the old days Engineering officers wore red and Command officers wore gold.
Dax: And women wore less. (turns in skirt uniform)
Bashir: I think I'm going to like history.
Bashir: I could be destined to be my own great grandfather.
O'Brien: You're being rediculous.
Bashir: If I don't meet her tomarrow I may never have existed... I can't wait to get back to Deep Space Nine and see your face when you find out I never existed!
Bashir: Commander, with all due respect are you out of your mind!?
"Bashir" Changling: Let me get this straight, you want me to lie to my commanding officer, betray Starfleet, and go with you to the Gamma Quadrant.
Garak: Exactly.
"Bashir" Changling: In that case, let's go. (pauses & points phaser) To Captain Sisko's office.
O'Brien: You're a gentlement and a scholar.
"Bashir" Changling: Truer words were never spoken.
O'Brien: Wow, think of it Julian. If this works, you'll be able to irritate thousands of people you've never met.
Bashir: (laughs)
Bashir: Well done Chief. Or shall I call you Cupid?
O'Brien: I am an incurable romantic.
The woman they're talking about is the one who graduated above him from Starfleet Medical.
-------------
Bashir: That was beautiful, Chief. Know what I think? I think we should go sing in Quark's.
O'Brien: I think we should switch to synthale.
Bashir: This isn't a synthale kind of night. She walked right past me, acted like I wasn't even there.
O'Brien: You know what I think? She's in love with you.
Bashir: You think so?
O'Brien: It's the only explanation. Unless... she hates you.
Bashir: Isn't there some explanation in between?
O'Brien: You're not an in between kind of guy.
Bashir: Really?
O'Brien: Like me, I hated you when you first came to the station but now...
Bashir: Now...?
O'Brien: Now, I don't hate you.
Bashir: That means a lot to me, Chief.
O'Brien: Really, that's from the heart. I really do... not hate you anymore.
Bashir: Wait. Let me think. Was I alone in solitary?... Yes I think I was.
